Billing questions
What is a tool call?
One use of a tool by your assistant: reading a file, listing a folder, running a command, checking a service, a database query... Usage is counted per account across all your computers and servers. Checking your usage with account_status is not counted.
What happens at the limit?
New tool calls are politely refused with a message that tells the assistant where to add calls or upgrade. Changes take effect within seconds. Usage resets on the 1st of every month (UTC).
Does my plan renew automatically?
Yes. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions: they renew automatically every month at the same price until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in Plan & billing; your plan stays active until the end of the month you paid for, then you move to Free. We never charge you for a month you did not get.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay (when your device supports them), and Link, processed securely by Stripe. We never see your card number.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, anytime from Plan & billing. Upgrades apply immediately and you pay the difference for the rest of the month.
What are extra tool calls?
A one-time purchase for months when you need more, without changing plan: $1 = 1,000 calls, from $5. They never expire and are used only after your plan's monthly calls are gone. They do not renew.
Do you offer invoices?
Yes. Every payment has a numbered bill in your dashboard and an invoice in the billing portal, with your company name, address and tax ID if you add them.
Does anything stop if a payment fails?
No. Stripe retries the payment automatically, and you can update your card anytime in Plan & billing. If the subscription ends, your account moves to the Free plan and keeps working within the free allowance.
