Plans & billing
How tool calls are counted, what happens at the limit, and how payments work.
Plans
| Plan | Price | Tool calls per month | Computers and servers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 2,000 | unlimited |
| Pro | $15 / month | 15,000 | unlimited |
| Unlimited | $20 / month | unlimited | up to 3 computers, unlimited servers |
Every plan includes every feature. Prices are in US dollars; taxes may apply depending on your country.
What counts
One tool call is one use of a tool by your assistant — reading a file, running a command, checking a service. Usage is counted per account, across all your computers and servers, and resets on the 1st of each month (UTC). account_status (asking for your usage) is free. Calls refused by the guard rails still count, like any request.
See your usage in Usage in the dashboard, or ask your assistant: "What's my OpsGates usage this month?"
At the limit
New tool calls get a clear message with the link to add calls or upgrade. Nothing else changes on your machines. After paying, calls work again within seconds.
Extra tool calls
Need more in one month without changing plan? In Plan & billing → Add tool calls buy extra calls once: $1 = 1,000 calls, from $5. They never expire, do not renew, and are used only after your plan's monthly calls are gone. Each purchase has a numbered bill.
Paying
Open Plan & billing and choose Pro or Unlimited. You pay on a secure Stripe page with a card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link (depending on your device and country). Promotion codes can be entered there.
Automatic renewal: paid plans are monthly subscriptions. They renew automatically every month at the same price until you cancel. The renewal date is shown in Plan & billing.
- Upgrade (Pro → Unlimited): applied immediately; you pay the prorated difference.
- Downgrade or cancel: from Plan & billing → Invoices & payment method. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period, then moves to Free.
- Invoices: downloadable from the billing portal. Add your company name, address and tax ID there.
- Failed payment: Stripe retries automatically. Update your card in the billing portal; your computers and servers keep working meanwhile.
- Bills: every payment also appears in Plan & billing as a numbered bill you can open and print.
Offline servers
If a server cannot reach OpsGates Cloud, it keeps working and counts locally for 72 hours, then pauses tool calls until the connection is back. Counts are sent once it reconnects. Computers always work through OpsGates Cloud, so their calls are counted as they happen.
Deleting your account
Settings → Delete account cancels any subscription immediately and deletes your account, keys, linked computers and usage history. Then uninstall the agents with sudo opsgate uninstall --purge; the apps on your computers stop by themselves.
